Membership
The NWBCC offers three types of membership: Individual, Household, and Associate. Please select the one the best fits your needs.
All applicants for membership must be in good standing with the AKC and agree to abide by the constitution and the by-laws of the club and the AKC. You do not have to own a Bearded Collie to be a member. Your application must be endorsed by two members in good standing.
The Membership Form can be downloaded to your computer. Click here for word format: Membership-Application or here for Adobe pdf format:Membership-Application. Print out a copy, fill it out, and send it with a check for the desired type of membership to the club Treasurer. (Mailing information is on the Membership Form.) Note: If you need a copy of Adobe Reader, you can download one here.
Your application will be read at the first meeting after you apply. At the next meeting your application will be reread and voted on by the members present. Your name and address will be entered on our roster and you will begin to receive club mailings. If you have additional questions, please contact a board member or request a copy of the constitution and by-laws.
If you live outside of the greater Puget Sound area and do not plan to attend meetings, please consider an Associate membership. Also, if you live outside the United States, please add $5 to your membership fee to help defray the cost of postage.
Rescue Families: NWBCC offers one year of membership at no charge as a “thank you” to families who provide homes to Beardies in need.
